I’m looking for a creative, talented, and dynamic individual to join my team. I’m dedicated to helping big-hearted dreamers use their unique talents to change the world, and this role will help us continue to broaden our impact and reach.
Position Overview
This position’s primary focus is to create an organized and supportive environment for my team and business as a whole. This is also a support role for our founder (Hi, it’s me… Andrea), to help me stay organized and on task as I create new content (both paid and free) to support customers and business growth.
We are also in the business of producing impactful digital courses to empower and teach individuals to become Certified Barre Instructors. This position will play a supporting role in the strategy execution of our online course business vertical.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail (can spot a typo a mile away) and knows how to communicate in an organized and efficient way. Discretion and confidentiality are essential for this position.
This role is primarily virtual, with the opportunity for some in-person collaboration as well. This is a part-time position that reports directly to our CEO/Founder, while also working closely with other key team members. There is opportunity for this role to become full time.
Duties + Responsibilities
Editorial
● Optimize + execute editorial content strategies to increase readership and drive traffic.
● Coordinate the creation of marketing collateral, including design, copy-writing, proofing and distribution.
● Manage day to day editorial production schedule across all platforms (Website, Instagram, Facebook, etc).
● Collaborate with Andrea to curate written content for all digital platforms.
Marketing
● Collaborate on the planning, development, and implementation of marketing strategies, communications, and PR initiatives for both our Coaching + Online Course business verticals.
● Execute email marketing to build, and deliver high-impact, ROI-driven results.
● Identify, analyze and incorporate market trends into planning.
Social Media
● Lead social media activity and campaigns, from research through development, execution, engagement, and analysis to propel the brand and following.
● Responsible for scheduling, posting and monitoring posts and groups on all outlets.
● Establish powerful relationships with other social-networking influencers on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
● Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic + brand awareness.
● Blog management, curation, and contribution.
● Develop forward-thinking strategy to ensure community engagement year-round.
● Optimize content according to SEO: collect, monitor and report on social/website metrics, and make improvements accordingly.
● Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention.
Community Management + PR
● Manage the online community via daily moderation, reviewing discussions, replying and engaging with posts.
● Support with the development + execute community plan to support business goals.
● Interact with customers, partners, and prospects to ensure positive digital experiences.
● Organize online community events to drive user engagement.
● Serve as liaison between Andrea and the general public.
● Collaborate with Andrea on event details and logistics including interview bookings, events and sponsorship requests, etc.
Requirements
● Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in marketing, communications and public-relations activities for influencers, authors or personalities.
● 2+ years hands-on experience with email marketing.
● 2+ years experience in the world of digital marketing and launches.
● High level of proficiency working with popular social media platforms and apps: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
● Experience reading/analyzing analytics with proven ability to generate meaningful insights from data.
● Creative with the ability to come up with inspiring campaign ideas and ways of social engagement.
● Exceptional writing and organizational skills.
● Ability to relate positively to people from diverse backgrounds and professional levels.
● Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Photo-editing apps, are an asset.
